My entry for "Bring Literature to Life" contest ([link]) by It won the 3rd prize.

The scene was inspired by a Romantic drama "Balladyna" by one of my favourite Polish poets, Juliusz Slowacki. The plot is a story of two sisters who want to marry the same man, a prince. To achieve the goal, the wicked one murders her sister. My picture is an interpretation of this tragic scene - when two girls come to the forest, one unaware that she will be killed by her beloved sister. A wonderful piece of literature, with a dark and mysterious atmosphere, but only in Polish
